SCHEDULE

Over 16 miles of I-80 from Minooka to New Lenox will be reconstructed, including over 30 bridges. Construction will be implemented in phases to minimize impacts on traffic.

The I-80 reconstruction project will occur in stages, a few miles at a time. Completion of one phase is required to advance to the next, with full reconstruction anticipated to be completed in 2028.

While the project is currently in various stages with ongoing community coordination, sections of the interstate are moving forward with construction.
