Concrete is flowing and progress continues to build across I-80

One of the major activities was the bridge deck pour for the new southbound I-55 to eastbound I-80 flyover bridge. Crews made significant progress on this future connection that will help improve traffic flow through the corridor.

 

At the same time, new noise walls are continuing to take shape across the corridor, with several sections already completed.
